Based in Clermont-Ferrand - France, Monbento was founded by Kinesiotherapist Emilie Creuzieux who, like most of us, finds it pretty difficult to find healthy fast food alternatives for lunch whilst on the go. A few years back, Emilie set out to find a quick-fix solution to this problem, whilst being mindful of enviromental impacts and practicalities for daily living too. Through her love of Japanese culture, she discovered the bento box... aka the meal in a container that can be eaten outside the home, and realising she was not alone in her new found passion for preparing healthy food at home to enjoy on the go, Monbento mania was born!
